A beautiful setting for a wedding at Christmas in London, what more of a perfect day could you ask for. That’s exactly what Lauren and Andrew had at The Arber Garden in London on 15 Dec 2023. I was delighted to play for their drinks reception and throughout their wedding breakfast.

Drinks Reception

For the drinks reception, Lauren and Andrew asked for a soft, mellow vibe as their guests arrived and settled in the bar area. To set the perfect tone, I played songs such as ‘Lover’ by Taylor Swift and ‘She’s The One’ by Robbie Williams.

The main event of the evening was Lauren and Andrew’s grand entrance into the wedding breakfast room. They chose the iconic Ibiza sax song ‘Jubel’ for this special moment. As I played the first notes, the room erupted in applause, and it was clear this was one of the most memorable wedding entrances I’ve done. A highlight was dancing along with the bride and groom as they made their entrance.

So much energy in the room, I knew from this point on that the evening of music would go down a storm with everyone.

Wedding Breakfast

One of the requests for the wedding breakfast was by the Maid of Honour, Demi. This was to play the classic song by George Michael featuring that famous saxophone riff, ‘Careless Whisper’. Once again this went down a storm as did the rest of the songs for the rest of the evening featuring, ‘Just The Two Of Us’ by Bill Withers and Grover Washington, Jr. and ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’ by Stevie Wonder.

Playing at Lauren and Andrew’s Christmas wedding was an absolute joy. Their vision for a cozy, elegant celebration came to life beautifully, making it a perfect day that will be remembered.
