"Alex had so much energy and played the exact type of songs we were hoping for, it was a great way to get the party started!"

A beautiful Thursday evening in June 2024, where guests are getting ready for the wedding evening reception for Ellen and Harry. Meanwhile I’m quietly setting up behind the DJ (KSD Events) as Ellen has booked me as a surprise to play straight after their first dance.

Ellen and Harry’s wedding was held at the gorgeous Bressingham Hall in Norfolk, and this was my first time to the venue and my goodness it is gorgeous for any time of year. As Karl started to play their first dance, I got myself set to come out as a surprise straight after. Ellen and I had conversations on the phone that after their first dance, they would go straight into ‘Two Hearts’ Phil Collins, a song they both like.

Cue the start of ‘Two Hearts’ and my entrance onto the dance floor with Harry completely surprised by the whole thing. The dance floor came alive as I joined Karl in energising the guests with classics like ‘Valerie,’ ‘Murder On The Dancefloor,’ and ‘Come On Eileen.’ The warm summer evening invited everyone to celebrate, and despite the gorgeous weather outside, guests couldn’t resist staying on the dance floor.

An absolutely beautiful evening for a beautiful couple and look forward to retuning to Bressingham Hall in the new year.

Alex performed at our wedding last month at Bressingham Hall and High Barn. I organised for Alex to do an hour set after our first dance as a surprise for my husband. Everyone loved it, Alex had so much energy and played the exact type of songs we were hoping for, it was a great way to get the party started! My husband loved the surprise, we would definitely recommend Alex if you are looking for something extra to add to your wedding!
